Tarek Al-Ghoussein (deceased 2022)

Tarek Al-Ghoussein was a UAE based photographer and Professor of Photography at the American University of Sharjah. A Palestinian, born in Kuwait 1962, his work has been exhibited in the 7th Sharjah Biennial, the Heidelberg Museum, the Vitra Design Museum, the 1st Brussels Biennale and the Singapore Biennale. Al-Ghoussein’s work is in permanent collections at the Sharjah Art Museum, Darat Al Funoon (Jordan), Royal Photography Museum Denmark and Victoria and Albert Museum (UK).
