Second week into their internship, the interns were asked to write about the relationship between technology and art. At this point they have visited other pavilions, and seen what each country has represented in the biennale. They were specifically asked to discuss the use of technology in contemporary art. Many arguments are against the heavy reliance of technology in creating contemporary work, while others argue that this mobilisation of technology is reflective of the times and is indeed just another medium used for expression.
They each chose a pavilion of their choice and discussed the relationship between contemporary art and technology. Enjoy reading their observations!
