The publication presents seminal findings of the Lest We Forget exhibition to archive the history of architectural and urban development in the UAE over the past century. Within a chronological evolution, the research examines the architectural history of the UAE from 1914 to 2014 and focuses on the early years of the nation building and the encounter with modernism between the 1970s – 1980s.
